I am a graduate of South Carolina State University with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. I have educational credits from Clemson University and received a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Cambridge College of Boston, Massachusetts. I have 25 years of teaching experience and have been chosen Teacher of the Year twice, and a District Finalist throughout my career. I am a level one grant writer and have been awarded over $180,000.00 in grants for three school districts in South Carolina.

 

I am very excited about the 2014-2015 school year and I hope that you are, as well!  The faculty, staff and administrators of CORE ACADEMY have worked very diligently this summer to prepare for you!  Our theme this year is “Tracking our Way to Success.”  It is our goal for every child and parent to be able to know the strengths of his or her child and the skills that we are working on at the academy to help weaknesses become areas of strength.  Together we can continue to provide the very best education for the most wonderful children in the world!
