“A Comprehensive Education for ALL Students!”
Pre-K through 5th Grade
Our Discipline Policy
We believe that children learn positive behavior through education and redirection. The most effective way to redirect behavior is to reward those positive actions so that the child will want to repeat them.

The Behavior Modification Center (BMC)
The Behavior Modification Center (BMC) is designed to handle diverse discipline problems. The BMC is a place where students will be counseled and corrected for inappropriate behavior so as to prevent the reoccurrence of negative behaviors. Students sent to the BMC continue their academic work and receive appropriate intervention to create a more positive attitude. Depending on the infraction that occurred, a student’s time in BMC is varied. The use of the center enables students to stay in school and continue with their academics, as well as to be counseled for rule infractions.

It is necessary that children learn to develop self-discipline in order to further their learning. We ask that you discuss with your children the importance of and the need for good behavior and a positive attitude at school. We will not tolerate fighting, disrespect towards others, obscene language, or destruction of school property. Students who break the rules continuously will be sent to the office and handled accordingly. If problems reoccur, parents will be called to come in and help resolve the problem. Please read and discuss these procedures with your child. All students who are involved in a fight or make a threat will be automatically suspended. Teachers are encouraged to remove disruptive students who interfere with the learning of others.
